The Convenience Design of Transmission Manipulation for Jianghuai Mid-sized Truck ZHOU Fu-geng1, REN Si-yi1, QIAN You-jun1, XU Gang2 (1.Commerical Vehicle Research Institute, Anhui Jianghuai Automobile Co.,Ltd, Hefei 230022, China; 2. Shantui Construction Machinery Co., Ltd., Jining 272023, China) Abstract: In view of a Jianghuai mid-sized truck equipped with six shift gears, some influencing factors on the easy and convenient manipulation of the transmission are discussed, such as the structure of gearbox, synchronizer, manipulation structure, soft stalk of shifting gear, etc. Some main factors that affect the easiness and convenience are found. At last, the design methods of the easy and convenient transmission manipulation are summarized based on the comparison with another kind of similar truck.
